The Boston Tea Party 250th Anniversary Tea Donation Drive

We want to throw your tea into the sea!

The deadline for tea donations has passed. No more tea is being accepted. Thank you all for your donations and for participating in this program.

The year 2023 marks the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, a moment that forever changed the course of American history. In honor of this celebration, we’re giving everyone around the world a chance to get involved. Everyone is invited to collect loose-leaf tea and mail it to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. This tea will be used during the 250th Anniversary & Reenactment of the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 2023.

This program is an exciting way for everyone to take part in this historic anniversary.

Each donation will receive a certificate of participation in the 250^th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party & Reenactment. Please be sure to include your name and mailing address so that this certificate can be mailed to you.

Tea must be dry and in loose-leaf form only. Please no tea bags!
