Celebrate the 245th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party!

Friends! Brethren! Countrymen! Join us each and every year on December 16th to celebrate and re-enact the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution—the Boston Tea Party! Presented by Old South Meeting House and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, the Annual Boston Tea Party Reenactment is an immersive and interactive historical experience unlike anything else Boston has to offer. This city-wide event involves historical reenactors from across New England, fife & drum corps, a parade through Boston, a town meeting at the historic Old South Meeting House, and a dramatic recreation of the Destruction of the Tea at the very same location where the Boston Tea Party took place 245 years ago.

2018 Event Information

The gathering outside of the Old South Meeting House, the procession and watching the destruction of the tea is free and open to the public.
