“Liberty Pole Day” Presented by the Alden House Historic Site

$15Step back in time to experience the life of a soldier in the American Revolution at a military encampment and living history day with reenactors from Col. Bailey’s 2nd Massachusetts Regiment and the Yarmouth Minutemen. Enjoy military drills, spinning and blacksmithing demonstrations, music, spycraft activities for kids, and much more.
Schedule of Events
- Military drills and living history demonstrations – ongoing
- Visit with interpreters from the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum to learn more about America’s most famous tea party. 12-2 pm
- “In the afternoon We went to training,” Duxbury & Plymouth Colony during the first year of the American Revolution. Talk by author and historian Alexander Cain. 2 pm.
